Create more secure and robust products by implementing security best practices during the development life cycle. With our certification services, you are better able to address security concerns in new project opportunities or RFPs.

Security built in from the start

Enhance Security Across the Development Lifecycle

GE Digital Cyber Security offers three certification programs: Achilles Practices Certification (APC), Achilles System Certification (ASC), and Achilles Communications Certification (ACC). APC verifies that an organization employs industry standard best practices for security. ASC verifies that products have been configured with the secure capabilities required to protect against a desired threat level. ACC verifies the network robustness of industrial devices and helps address security and robustness in the development lifecycle.

Achilles Practices Certification

Include Cyber Security Best Practices In Your Product Development

Achilles Practice Certification Program verifies a system supplier's compliance with industry standard security best practices (IEC62443-2-4), covering areas such as hardening, anti-malware, patch management, network, and data security. It spans the entire system lifecycle from organizational governance, through solution design and services development, testing and commissioning, to maintenance and support.

    Achilles System Certification

Illustrate compliance of your control system products

GE Digital developed the Achilles System Certification (ASC) program, enabling control system vendors to formally illustrate compliance of their control system products with cyber-security requirements specified by the IEC 62443-3-3 standard (Part 3-3: system security requirements and security levels).

    Digital Transformation Begins Here
    1. This certification spans the design and engineering technical security requirements for a control system product. The security requirements and its associated security levels can be used by the control system vendor, asset owner, or integrator to assess cybersecurity of their systems. The control system products can also be certified to four security levels (SL-1 to SL-4) based on the security capabilities implemented for the system.

      Achilles Communications Certification

      An Industry Leading Benchmark

Achilles Communications Certification (ACC) from GE Digital is designed to assess the network robustness of industrial devices and certify that they remain operational when subjected to network tests. ACC provides device manufacturers with an independently verified result to communicate product robustness to customers while providing control system operators confidence in the products and systems they deploy and use.
