Focusing on real-world challenges
Every day, GE puts the Industrial Data to work, driving real results for over customers. Today customers use our technology and our software to achieve better time to value, increasing grid utilization by 25% and reducing average customer outage time by 30%.
We kicked off the conference with a welcome from Jim Walsh, General Manager, Grid Software Solutions for GE Digital, who reinforced our commitment to customer immersion in everything we do. GE’s depth of experience is a powerful engine for innovation, but it must be grounded in our customers’ business imperatives to drive lasting value.
APAC 2019 focused on our customers. On main stage, executives from Network Northpower, Top Energy, and Aboitiz Power discussed digital transformation and how GE delivered value to their operations.

So we will need suppliers to provide equipment to monitor and software to help manage this data on a variety of scales, fast and in real-time, forecast modeling and planning.
Found the ADMS work shop to be the most valuable session of the conference.
Attending utilities stated that they were encouraged to see GE presenting itself as One Team with a Clear Vision with Integrated Products across the business. Integration is key.
