The Electric Power team at GE Research is accelerating the electrification of products around the world through the development and application of new technologies in the energy, healthcare and transportation ecosystems. We are pushing the boundaries of electrical technology, while designing more robust and power dense electrical equipment.
The team develops electrical technologies and equipment that support a wide array of applications, ranging from power generation and and electricity transmission and distribution equipment to addressing the electricity needs aboard airplanes and magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) systems in healthcare. Their focus is on higher overall performance and efficiency, so that our customers can make travel faster and cheaper, diagnose patients more quickly at reduced cost, and produce cleaner, more affordable energy.
