Over many decades, GE scientists and engineers have been close partners with the US defense agencies whose mission is to drive new advances to promote a safer world and to protect those who willingly put their lives on the line to protect it.
Our technology portfolio supporting defense and security needs is extensive and draws from across GE’s industrial portfolio. We apply our considerable experience in advanced materials, the design of complex turbomachinery and advanced cyber protections to support new advances and safeguard critical military infrastructure and systems. For military and security personnel, we bring an array of technologies from wearable sensors and computer vision that can help identify suspicious threats on the battlefield or in public areas to innovative healthcare solutions such as faster ways to make vaccines and new approaches in bioelectronic medicine to enable more rapid responses to emerging biothreats and improve the treatment and care of soldiers.
