Future Forward at GE Research: Our interns on the technology of tomorrow
This summer, more than 70 interns from 48 universities and 9 countries joined GE Research, working across 12 technical domains and several functional groups. We believe these young scientists and engineers represent the future of technology—and of GE. So, we asked them what they think about the challenges facing industry today and how to go about solving for them. Everything from the disruption of additive manufacturing to what the future of technology will look in 30 years was on the table.
The interns brought diverse backgrounds and ideas to their research, and the Future Forward survey allowed us to understand their diverse perspectives on the technology, innovation and industry of tomorrow. Here’s what they had to say.
