Windows Mobile Device Reference Documents

About Reference Documents on a Windows Mobile Device

If a Reference Document record is linked to a Measurement Location record and your Windows Mobile Device contains the necessary application, you can access the file defined in that Reference Document record while viewing the associated checkpoint on the Windows Mobile Device. For example, if you have a word processing program on your Windows Mobile Device, such as Mobile Word, you can access a Microsoft Word document that is defined in a Reference Document record.

The type of files that you can view as reference documents on the Windows Mobile Device is determined by the software that is installed on the Windows Mobile Device. For example, if a Microsoft Word document is the reference document, you can access it on the Windows Mobile Device only if the necessary word processing software is installed on the Windows Mobile Device.
