Searching for Tags

About this task

Refer to Browsing for Tags for more information on browsing tags from Historian Clients.

Procedure

Select the Search Historian Tag Database link in the Tag Maintenance page
The Search Historian Tag Database window in the following figure appears.
Enter a tag mask or a description mask in the appropriate fields, using standard Windows wildcard characters.
To limit the search to a specific collector, select a collector from the drop-down list in the Collector field.
Enter the maximum number of tags the search should return.
Entering 0 (zero) will return ALL tags available in the Historian Tag Database.
Select OK to execute the search.
