Creating a Global Security Group in a Windows 2003 Domain

Procedure

In the Control Panel, double-click Administrative Tools.
The Administrative Tools window appears.
Double-click the Active Directory Users and Computer icon.
The Active Directory window appears.
In the Active Directory Tree display, select the required Domain and select Users.
Right-select Users and select New > Group.
The New Object - Group window appears.
In the Group name field, enter the name of the new Historian group exactly as you have defined it. Leave the other default options unchanged.
Select OK to create the new group.
