Workflow provides the ability to connect to external data sources to access the data contained within those applications.

The OPC Unified Architecture (UA) client provides direct access to data served by OPC UA servers.
Add Groups to OPC UA
You must add groups to your OPC UA client in order to browse and select the items that are stored on the OPC UA server.

    Workflow provides the ability to connect to external data sources to access the data contained within those applications.

Add Groups to OPC UA

You must add groups to your OPC UA client in order to browse and select the items that are stored on the OPC UA server.

Procedure

In the navigator, click Proficy System > Proficy System > OPC UA.
In the OPC UA Servers list, select an OPC UA server.
Click Add Item Group.
In the Name field, enter a name for the OPC UA group.
Optional: In the Description field, enter a description of the OPC UA group.
Click OK.
