    Box Description
WORK ORDER You must enter a value in this box. Enter a unique name for the work order that does not exceed 100 characters. If a work order with the same name exists:
    • If the work order is ready, a message appears asking you to confirm if you want to delete it and replace it with the one you are creating.
    • If the work order is in progress, you cannot create this work order.
NO OF LOTS Enter the number of serial/lots this work order is to create. The value in this box must not exceed 100. The value in this box determines the number of rows in the ENTER SERIAL/LOT# table.
PRIORITY Enter the priority in which the work order must be completed.
    • 1 = highest priority
    • 0, -, or blank = lowest priority
WORK ORDER PLANNED QUANTITY Enter the quantity of product to be manufactured as part of the work order.
PLAN START Enter the planned date and time to begin work on the work order. By default, this box is populated with the current date and time.

SERIAL/LOT# PREFIX Enter the prefix for each serial/lot to be manufactured. The value in this box helps identify the serials/lots that belong to the same work order.
ENTER SERIAL/LOT# A table with as many rows as the value entered in NO OF LOTS. Each row contains the following fields:
    • SEQ
    • SERIAL/LOT#
    • GENERATED SERIAL/LOT#
    • QUANTITY
All rows must be completed, either manually, or by using the Auto Populate feature (see the note below).
SEQ The row number, starting from 1.
SERIAL/LOT# Enter a unique value for each serial/lot.
GENERATED SERIAL/LOT# Identifies the serial/lot that will be assigned to each product in the work order. This box is disabled and populated with a combination of the values in the SERIAL/LOT# PREFIX and SERIAL/LOT# boxes.
    QUANTITY

You must enter a value in this box. Enter a unique name for the work order that does not exceed 100 characters.

If a work order with the same name exists:
    • If the work order is ready, it is deleted and replaced with the one that you are creating.
    • If the work order is in progress, you cannot create this work order.
ORDER QUANTITY Enter the quantity of the product that must be manufactured as part of the work order. The value in this box must not exceed 300. The value in this box determines the number of rows that appear in the ENTER SERIAL/LOT# section.
PRIORITY Enter the priority in which the work order must be completed.
    • If you want to assign the highest priority for the work order, enter 1.
    • If you want to assign the lowest priority for the work order, enter 0 or leave the box blank.

PLAN START Enter the planned date and time to begin work on the work order.
PLAN END Enter the planned date and time to complete the work on the work order. By default, this box is populated with the date and time that is 24 hours from the current date and time.

GENERATED SERIAL/LOT# Identifies the serial/lot that will be assigned to each product in the work order. This box is disabled and populated with a combination of the values in the SERIAL/LOT# PREFIX and SERIAL/LOT# boxes.
Note: You can automatically populate the rows in the table with the Auto Populate feature. To use Auto Populate you must manually populate SEQ (row) 1:
    • Enter a unique identifier in the SERIAL/LOT# field. Press the tab key to populate the rest of the row with a GENERATED SERIAL/LOT# and QUANTITY.
    • Click the Auto Populate icon. Auto Populate will fill in the remaining rows/lots, incrementing the SERIAL/LOT# and GENERATED SERIAL/LOT# in each subsequent row by one based on the character(s) specified in SEQ 1 (e.g., A, B, C, etc.; 01, 02, 03, etc.). The value in the QUANTITY field will be duplicated for each row.
    • To change the format/values of the SERIAL/LOT# and GENERATED SERIAL/LOT# fields, change the value in either of the SERIAL/LOT# PREFIX or SERIAL/LOT# fields and click Auto Populate.
  5. Select Create.
Tip: If you want to create another work order for the same route, select Create and Add Another.
