Access the Machine Summary

About this task

Use this procedure to view summary for machine based on the:

  • Lines
  • Units
  • Time range

Procedure

  1. Log in to the Plant Applications Web Client.
  2. Select Line Overview ().
    The Line Overview page appears and displays summary for a machine.
  3. Select an option in the View by box as described in the following table, and then select Downtime from the Group By drop-down list.
    Option Description
    Lines When you select this option, an In box appears, in which you can select a line that has an issue. For example, Discrete Line, DTLine, and so on.
    Units Select the unit to view the machine summary for.
  4. In the drop-down list box next to the View by box, select a time range as described in the following table.

    Option Description
    Last 7 days Select to access the machine summary within seven days prior to the current production day.
    Last 8 hours Select to access the machine summary within eight hours prior to the current production day.
    Current Day Select to access machine summary from the start time until the end time of the current production day.
    Previous Day Select to access machine summary from the day prior to the current production day.
    Custom Select to access machine summary within a date and time range of up to seven days that you specify by using a calendar window. The calendar window appears when you select the Custom option. To specify a custom date and time range in the calendar window, do the following:
    1. In the START DATETIME section, select a date and enter a time in the format hh:mm:ss.
    2. In the END DATETIME section, select a date and enter a time in the format hh:mm:ss.
    3. Select Apply.

    When you hover over the bar for a machine having a downtime event recorded, the tooltip displays information such as:

    • Downtime: Indicates the duration of the downtime event recorded for a machine.
    • Category: Indicates the type of the downtime event recorded for a machine. For example, Unplanned Downtime, Performance Downtime, and so on.
    • Reason: Indicates the cause of the downtime event recorded for a machine. For example, Machine Failure.
    Note:
    • When there are two different reasons for a single downtime event and the downtime event is Open, the system displays the status in 'Orange'.
    • When there is a single reason for a single downtime event and the downtime event is Closed, the system displays the status in 'Blue'.
