Access the Operator Log

Procedure

  1. Log in to the Plant Applications Web Client.
  2. Select .

    The Operator Log page appears and displays a list of equipment and their details in a tabular format. You can resize a column or drag and drop a column to a new position. The column settings you select are retained when you access the Operator Log page later.

    Field Description
    Equipment Displays the list of equipment and its corresponding event type. The event type includes:
    • Log Entry
    • Hand Offs
    An equipment can have a line or unit or both.
    Event Type Displays the event type for an equipment. The event type includes:
    • Log Entry
    • Hand Offs
    Status Displays the status for a handoff. The two options are:
    • Open
    • Closed

    You can manually enter the status for a handoff.

    Start Time Displays the start time for the log entry or handoff.
    End Time Displays the end time for the log entry or handoff.
    Summary Displays the description for the added log entry or handoff.
    Created By Displays the name of the operator who created the log entry or handoff.
    Linked Displays the events linked to the log.
    Comment Indicates the comments added or modified for the log entry or handoff.
    Actions Displays the option to close a handoff entry amnually.
  3. Optional: To view details for log entries, handoffs, or both for a specific time duration, select the time range from the View by field and then select one of the following:
    • All: Displays details for both log entries and handoffs.
    • Log Entries: Displays details for log entries.
    • Hand Offs: Displays details for handoffs.
