Configure Property Definition

Procedure

  1. Access the Property Definition application in Plant Applications Web Client.
  2. In the ERP App category, MaterialLot Import group, set the default values for the following properties:
    Name Default Value
    Receiver Line Received Material Lots
    Receiver Unit Receiver
    Inventory Line Received Material Lots
    Receiver Status

    No Value.

Note: All receivers are created in Plant Applications by default in the "Open" status while using the ERP interface. If the user wants to change the default status to something different the user can add a valid status existing in Plant Applications for the property "Receiver Status" (shown above) in the Property Definition Application. If alternately the Receiver Status in specified in the ERP Material Lot Import Document which comes from an external system, that will always take the precedence.
Note: The receiver line is where the receivers are created, and the inventory line is where the material lots within that receiver is created. If you want to configure the material lots within the receiver line itself, then you must set up the inventory line similar to the receiver line.

If you want to configure the material lot under a different line, then you must ensure that the unit where this needs to be created has the appropriate user defined events and production events. For more information, refer to Configure Plant Model .

  3. If you want to include any custom properties while importing material lots from an ERP system, create them. For information, refer to the ERP Integration Guide.
