About Custom Tab | Plant Applications 2022 Documentation

Custom tabs are useful to load external third-party web applications. Using Configuration, you can add and configure (the information that will be displayed) custom tabs to the following applications:

Activities
Unit Operations
Work Queue
Work Order Manager
Process Orders
Receiving Inspection
Genealogy

Note: The external application URL must be Cross-Origin Resource Sharing (CORS)-enabled so that specified input parameters or custom properties can be transferred from the integrated application to the external application.
