Interface Layout Options for the Task List
Task Step Views allows you to preconfigure the interface visible to operators when a Task List is running.
Tip: You can use a Write Activity to change some property values at run time.
You can also configure other visible elements of the Task List and copy these configurations to other computers to ensure consistency across all workstations. For more information, see User Interface Controls in the Task List.
Preferred Views for Task Steps
You can set a default view when an operator selects a task step in the Views panel of the Task List. For example, if you select the Linked Documents radio button, the content in this section is visible immediately to the operator when he selects the Views panel.
Note: If the view that you have set does not have content, the Views panel defaults to the Forms view.
