日本GE株式会社（本社：東京都港区、代表取締役社長兼CEO：マーク・ノーボン）は、日本の未来を担う若い学生を対象に「GE 学生のためのアイデア・コンテスト」を実施いたします。
GEの創始者であるトーマス・エジソンが"世界がいま本当に必要としているものを創るのだ（I find out what the world needs, then I proceed to invent it.）"と語ったとおり、GEは、課題解決に役立つアイデアこそ優れたものであると考えています。このコンテストは高専・大学・大学院で学ぶ学生を対象としており、将来にわたる課題を発見・定義しその解決策を真剣に考えている、想像力と熱意にあふれる学生の皆さんを応援するものです。
Two projects selected from 12 entries by students of Interior Design & Architecture Department of American University in Dubai
