Write a material property attribute
Procedure In the navigator, click . In the Workflows list, select the resource you want to work with.
Note: A resource must already have been added in order to select it from this list.
In the Displays panel, click . Click the Workflow Editor tab. Insert an activity: At the workflow level: At the subprocess level:Double-click the local subprocess you want to add the activity to. From the Standard Activities panel, click and drag the activity you want to insert to a drop point. On the activity configuration panel, click Configure Method . The Configure Method dialog box appears, displaying a list of the available call method service providers.
Double-click IMaterial to display the list of available call methods. Click WritePropertyAttribute , and then click Finish . The input parameters appear in the activity configuration panel.
Configure the call method as follows: In the Attribute field, enter the name of the attribute you want to write to. In the Material field, click the ellipsis button, and then select the material definition or class whose property you want to write to. In the Property Name field, enter the name of the property whose attribute you want to write to. In the Value field, click the arrow, and then select Bind. The Select Variable dialog box appears. The Select Variable dialog box appears.
Select the item to bind to, and then click OK . Click Save . Run the workflow, or, on the Test/Debug tab, test the workflow to ensure that your input parameters are configured correctly.
