Procedure
Enable Alarm Cast Gateway in the CIMPLICITY Workbench, as follows.
Click Project>Properties on the Workbench menu bar.
The Project Properties dialog box opens.
Check Alarm Cast Gateway in the General tab>Options box.
Close the Project Properties dialog box.
Do the following.

Expand Computer in the Workbench left-pane.

Double-click Alarm Cast Administrator (in the left or right-pane).
The Alarm Cast Administrator window opens.
Do the following.

Select Alarm Cast Servers in the Alarm Cast Administrator left-pane.
B
Click the New Server button on the Alarm Cast Administrator toolbar.
A New Server menu displays.
Select Alarm Cast Server on the New Server menu.
A Select Data Source dialog box opens.
Select the Alarm Cast Server data source.
Default
FPSERVER
Click OK.
Must be in your DNS server or local host file.
Can be reached from the Administrator workstation
Three alternate names.
One locator name.

Aliases can be customized by editing the text preceding and following the &symbol.
The & symbol serves as a shortcut key and can be placed anywhere in the Alias descriptions.
A Users folder is added to the Tools tree.
Users who should have access to the Alarm Cast server need to be added.
A Login dialog box opens when a user attempts to open the Alarm Administrator window.

Results
After a listed user logs into Windows, the user can open the Alarm Cast Administrator window; a Login dialog box for the Alarm Cast Administrator is not required.
