Hema is a Research Engineer at GE Research in, Niskayuna, New York with experience in Real-time Optimization, Control Theory, Signal Processing and Machine Learning.

She currently works on the development of next generation controls algorithms for offshore wind turbine HaliadeX-12MW which is the world's most powerful wind turbine to date.
