SINGAPORE---May 20, 2010---GE (NYSE: GE) and the National University of Singapore (NUS) today announced the appointment of Adil Dhalla as the new co-chair and director for the NUS-GE Singapore Water Technology Center. Dhalla has a distinguished academic background and recently served as the technical director of the polymer science and technology team at GE's John F. Welch Technology Center in Bangalore, India.
PARIS, 19th May, 2010: GE Capital, one of Europe's leading providers of SME financing, has signed an agreement with The Royal Bank of Scotland plc (RBS) to acquire 100% of RBS Factor S.A., RBS' factoring business in France, for an undisclosed amount. The transaction is subject to regulatory approval. The move follows an agreement entered into with RBS earlier this year to acquire the bank's factoring business in Germany, subject to regulatory approval.

JENBACH, Austria--Wednesday, May 05, 2010--Helping to alleviate China's energy shortage, GE's (NYSE: GE) ecomagination-approved Jenbacher biogas engines will power the new Liaoning Huishan Cow Farm, which, once completed, will become world's largest biogas project based on cow manure.
The manure from the 250,000 cows at the Huishan farm, located in Shenyang, China, will be converted into biogas and is expected to produce 38,000 MWh a year through four GE JMS420 Jenbacher gas engines. The energy generated will be sold to the state grid in China.
