      There are two methods available for configuring server connection.
    - Events for Task Indicator
      Task events can be configured after installing the ActiveX Task List to provide more information regarding the status of the Task Indicator. Task event information can be displayed to users if a feedback message event is part of the event's configuration.
    - Server State Icons for Task Indicator
      Indicator icons provide visual information about the status of the server connection, as well as the status of tasks. If configured to do so, a status message can also be displayed to provide more information to the user.

Format the Task Indicator in a host application

Procedure

In your host application, modify an OLE object. For more information, see the host application's online help.
To associate this control with a run-time message, edit the script.
To allow a user to connect directly to the ActiveX Task List from the Task Indicator, select the TaskListIndicatorClick event and edit the script.

Note: A user must already have entered authentication and be logged in.
Optional: To configure the format settings (such as size or background color), go to the object's properties.
