Victor is a Managing Director of Investing. He is based in Menlo Park, CA, and joined the team in 2017.
His focus is investing in the Internet of Things (IOT), transportation, and mobility.
Before joining GE Ventures, Victor worked in Intel Capital’s investment group with an emphasis on consumer IoT, wearables, and the connected world. Prior to that, he was a General Partner with RockPort Capital in their Menlo Park, CA, office where he invested in transportation and the connected world, led the investments team, and served on the board of directors. He also spent eight years at InterWest Partners, learning the venture business from industry veterans and investing in the semiconductor, advanced materials, cleantech, wireless, telecom, and enterprise hardware industries.
Earlier, Victor worked in product marketing and product management roles at Applied Materials, where he helped bring semiconductor physical vapor deposition equipment into the flat panel display industry. As an engineer in a venture-backed startup, Candescent Technologies, he developed a novel field emission flat panel display technology. His career began at Hughes Aircraft Company with a number of engineering projects ranging from missile defense systems to satellite communications systems.
Victor earned an MBA from Harvard Business School, a master’s degree in Electrical Engineering from Stanford University, and a bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from Cornell University,
