Margeaux Wallace

BS, Materials Science & Engineering (Cornell University) PhD, Materials Science & Engineering (The Pennsylvania State University)

Margeaux is a Lead Materials Engineer who started at GE Research in 2016. Her focus is primarily on microstructure-processing-property relationships of ceramics and coatings for gas turbines. Her most recent projects with GE have been focused on ceramics for extreme environments, such as improved thermal barrier coatings for turbofan engines. Margeaux is also engaged in the GE Women's Network,  leading the SWE scholarship initiative for the NY Capital District, which raises funds for young women studying in STEM fields. Additionally, she is active in the Materials Research Society (MRS) as a member of the Focus on Sustainability subcommittee.

Margeaux received her B.S. in Materials Science & Engineering from Cornell University in 2011 and her Ph.D. in Materials Science & Engineering from Penn State in 2016.
