Dan is a Senior Operation Researcher in Control & Optimization at GE Research. She joined GE in 1998.
Since joining GE, Dan has participated and led over 35 projects. She works mainly in designing and developing decision support systems to optimize business process for GE by applying system integration and quantitative analytics methods. In recent years, she researched and prototyped block-chain technologies for industry applications and applied natural language process and sematic models to analyze long term service contracts. In one of her recent projects, she worked as a core team member to develop a multi-tier collaboration platform for enterprise model integration and project management. She also led the effort to deploy the platform to GE Aviation's CMC QA process.
Dan earned her PhD. in Computer Science in Department of Computing, Imperial College, London in 1998. She holds M.S. and B.S. degrees from Electronic Science & Technology University of China (1984 and 1987).
