GEヘルスケアグループ（以下「GEヘルスケア」）の世界中核拠点の1つであるGEヘルスケア・ジャパン株式会社（本社：東京都日野市、代表取締役社長：川上潤）は6月1日（金）、心臓突然死の発生リスクの予測精度を高めたホルターレコーダー（携帯型心電図記録器）「SEER12（シーアジュウニ）」を発売、増え続ける心臓突然死の予知につながる新たなソリューションを提供します。

心臓突然死は心臓病に起因する予期していない突然の病死のことで、急性症状が起こってから1時間以内の短時間で死亡することが多いため「瞬間死」とも言われます。心臓突然死による死亡者数は世界全体では年間約100万人、日本では年間約6万人*1とも言われ（交通事故死数は年間4,612人*2）、増加の一途をたどっています。

It just tethers them right to their beds.”
