首台中国本地组装和谐n5型干线机车正式下线

GE运输系统将与戚墅堰合作完成300台中国干线机车订单

2008年11月25日,中国常州 --- 采用通用电气(GE)Evolution技术的首台中国主干线机车 "HXN50003"号今日正式下线。铁道部副总工程师张曙光、GE运输系统集团中国区总裁兼首席执行官史威德、中国南车股份有限公司副董事长兼总裁郑昌泓、南车戚墅堰机车有限公司总经理王洪年以及江苏省、常州市和哈尔滨铁路局的领导出席了隆重的下线庆祝仪式。在中国组装的首台中国主干线机车 "HXN50003"号,由GE运输系统集团与合作伙伴中国南车戚墅堰机车有限公司(戚墅堰)共同完成,其最大输出功率为 6,250 马力,可拖动相当于 240 架波音 747"空中巨无霸"飞机的重量。
