Independent researchers conduct fuel test of GE and EMD model locomotives
Erie, Pa. (June 17, 2009) - GE Transportation announced today the results of a head-to-head fuel test between GE's Evolution® ES44AC and EMD's SD70ACe Tier 2 emissions-compliant locomotives. According to an independent research study GE's locomotives are over 6% more fuel-efficient compared to their EMD counterparts.

LE BOURGET---June 17, 2009---Air Nostrum has ordered 35 CF34-8C5A1 powered Bombardier CRJ1000 NextGen aircraft. The engine order is valued at more than $350 million (USD) list price. Delivery will begin in 2010.
