西彻斯特，俄亥俄州 -- 2013年3月7日 -- 总部设在香港的中国飞机租赁公司（CALC）宣布选择CFM56-5B发动机为新订购的25架空客A320系列飞机提供动力。该确认订单价值为5亿美元（目录价格），该批飞机计划将于2014至2016年间交付。

这些飞机是中国飞机租赁公司首批新飞机订单的一部分；该公司于2012年与空客宣布了36架A320系列飞机的订购协议。
