GE (NYSE: GE) today announced it had entered into a strategic alliance with Macquarie Capital to cater for the growing global demand for infrastructure funding and development.
The agreement will see the companies working together to create new and flexible solutions to global infrastructure challenges for potential users of GE technology across sectors as diverse as renewable energy, power and water.

HONG KONG, October 22, 2013 -- GE Capital Aviation Services Limited (GECAS), the commercial aircraft leasing and financing arm of GE, today announced delivery of the first of eight new leased Airbus A321-200 aircraft to EVA Air. All eight aircraft come from GECAS' existing order book with Airbus. GECAS will deliver the remaining leased A321s to EVA through 2014 as part of the airline's fleet expansion plans.
EVA Air, a member of the Star Alliance, currently operates a fleet of more than 60 aircraft to more than 70 destinations.
