SHANNON, Ireland, July 11, 2014 -- GE Capital Aviation Services Limited (GECAS), the commercial aircraft leasing arm of GE, announced delivery of a new leased Airbus A330 aircraft to China Airlines to modernize its fleet. The aircraft is from GECAS' existing order book with Airbus.
Founded in 1959, China Airlines is the full-service flag carrier of Taiwan, operating a fleet of 80 aircraft to 110 regional and international destinations in Asia, Oceania, Europe and the U.S.

PARIS, FRANCE - June 21, 2014 - GE [NYSE: GE] was informed today that the Alstom Board of Directors has unanimously decided to positively recommend GE’s offer to acquire the Power and Grid businesses of Alstom. With this decision, the transaction will proceed with Works Councils consultation, customary regulatory approvals and Alstom shareholder approval. The deal is expected to close in 2015.
PARIS, FRANCE, June 19, 2014 - GE (NYSE: GE) said today it has updated its April 30 offer to acquire the Power and Grid businesses of Alstom (ALO.PA) in connection with discussions with Alstom management and the French government on jobs, decision-making in France, access to nuclear steam turbine technology, and support for Alstom Transport. GE’s valuation for Alstom remains unchanged.
SHANNON, Ireland, June 10, 2014 -- GE Capital Aviation Services Limited (GECAS), the commercial aircraft leasing arm of GE, today announced delivery of a new Boeing 787-8 Dreamliner to TUI Travel as part of a purchase-and-leaseback transaction.
A second 787 aircraft is scheduled for delivery to TUI Travel later this month.
As part of its wide body strategy, GECAS placed an order directly with Boeing in September 2013 for 10 of the Boeing 787-10 Dreamliner models. These aircraft are scheduled for delivery beginning in 2019.

SHANNON, Ireland, May 30, 2014 -- GE Capital Aviation Services Limited (GECAS), the commercial aircraft leasing arm of GE, today announced that its engine leasing unit completed a purchase-and-leaseback transaction with Aerovías De Mexico S.A.de C.V., (Aeromexico), for a new GEnx engine. The engine will be used as a spare to support the airline's Boeing 787 fleet.
SHANNON, Ireland, May 29, 2014 -- GE Capital Aviation Services Limited (GECAS), the commercial aircraft leasing arm of GE, today announced delivery of a new Embraer E190LR aircraft to Montenegro Airlines to expand the carrier's fleet. The aircraft is from GECAS' existing order book with Embraer.
Montenegro Airlines currently operates a fleet of nine aircraft to destinations in Europe.
