London 26 May 2011 -- GE has joined with the National Gallery to bring a masterpiece to life, with a version of Van Gogh's famous painting A Wheatfield, with Cypresses made from over 8000 living plants.
Dammam, Saudi Arabia; May 17, 2011: With less than a month to go to the opening of the GE Energy Manufacturing Technology Center, employees of GE in the Kingdom are looking forward to the educational and hands-on training prospects that the facility will offer.
The Center further expands GE's local job creation and training commitment to Saudi Arabia and is the largest GE turbine repair center of its kind in the world, which will enhance local Saudi repair and service capabilities.
Hyderabad, May 14, 2011: Building on its citizen centricity initiatives, Cyberabad Police has started a five-hour weekly training on citizen centricity communications and behavior. The training program called 'Citizens as Customers' will be conducted by volunteers from GE India and is expected to touch over 400 police men and women by the end of 2011.

GE科学家通过"科学影迷汇"活动与社会大众分享低碳环保的科学理念
2011 年 6月5日，上海------今天是世界环境日。在这一特殊的日子，GE中国研发中心、真实传媒（上海纪实频道）和上海科技馆联合发起环境日专题科普活动，以能源的后现代"生活" 为主题拉开"科学影迷汇"的序幕。
"科学影迷汇"首场活动在上海科技馆报告厅举办。观众欣赏了上海纪实频道能源纪录片《2013，石油不在再》，更加深入地了解了世界能源短缺的现状。之后，GE科学家黄群健和李广喜分别向观众详解了太阳能和风能这两种可再生能源，阐明了石油储备枯竭之后的世界能源解决之道。黄群健说，地球表面的太阳辐射高达12万太瓦，其中600 太瓦是可用的，而我们人类只需10太瓦就可以了（1太瓦等于100万兆瓦）。

München, 4. Mai 2011 --- GE (General Electric) ergänzt seine bisherigen globalen Web 2.0-Aktivitäten um einen deutschsprachigen Facebook-, Twitter- und Youtube-Kanal. Ab heute informiert die deutsche Pressestelle des Weltkonzerns auch auf diesem Weg über Aktuelles aus den deutschen Geschäftsbereichen und über wichtige Nachrichten aus dem Gesamtkonzern. Der Youtube-Kanal wird am 9. Mai 2011 freigeschalten.
