パリ - 2013 年5月6日 - GEのパワーコンバージョン事業は、5月6日から9日まで米ヒューストンで開催されるオフショア・テクノロジー・カンファレンス（OTC）において、プラットフォーム補給船のエンジン速度を制御することで燃料消費を低減させる新たな電力・推進システムを発表します。この新たなVF-AFE（Variable Frequency Active Front-End : 可変周波数アクティブフロントエンド）電力・推進システムは、従来の動力システム機器上で動作し、必要時にエンジン速度を下げることで燃費を削減すると共に、排出ガスとメンテナンス頻度を低減します。

A group of Albertans living with heart failure will have their conditions monitored right from their homes as part of an innovative pilot project. The pilot is a collaboration between the Alberta government, Alberta Health Services and GE Canada.
