GE Fanuc Automation, a division of the GE Infrastructure global business platform, has introduced the new Proficy HMI/SCADA iFIX with FIX Desktop software.
This enables users of FIX software to take advantage of the many advanced database and connectivity features of Proficy iFIX, while continuing to view and control their plant-wide processes in their existing graphics environment.
This is according to Daniel Coetzee, Business Manager Sub-Saharan Africa for the GE Fanuc Automation division.

2004年10月22日，秦皇岛--通用电气（GE）能源集团今天与哈尔滨动力设备股份公司（哈动力）、南京汽轮电机集团有限公司（南汽轮）在秦皇岛为今年2月成立的通用电气--哈动力--南汽轮能源服务（秦皇岛）有限公司举行开工典礼。
在开工典礼前，南汽轮同通用电气和哈动力举行了签约仪式，成为合资企业的第三位股东。在新的合资企业中，GE公司拥有51%的股份，哈动力拥有41%的股份，南汽轮有8%的股份。这个合资厂是目前中国首家也是唯一为GE 9FA重型燃气轮机提供维修和现场服务的企业。
GE 能源集团中国项目总经理顾伟利说："继年初的签约仪式，我很高兴看到GE-哈动力的合作经过短短8个月取得另一个重要进展。面对中国迅速增长的燃气轮机服务市场，我们有充分的信心和哈动力、南汽轮一起为我们的客户提供世界水准的技术领先、和他们身边最具备竞争力的服务。"
