Industry-Wide, Three-Year Frame Agreement Largest Ever Wellhead Contract Awarded to Date

RIO DE JANIERO--08 June 2009-- GE Oil & Gas, a world leading company in oil and gas advanced technology equipment and services, announced today that its drilling & production business has been awarded a three-year frame agreement valued at more than $250 million to supply 250 VetcoGray subsea wellhead systems to Petroleo Brasileiro S.A. (Petrobras) of Brazil, an integrated oil and gas company. In terms of number of wellheads, this is the largest contract awarded to date in the industry.

在持续扩大盈利的同时减少温室气体排放，以期完成其他"绿色创想"目标

2009年6月1日，美国康涅狄格州费尔菲尔德 ―― 通用电气（GE）公司今天宣布已如期兑现首个"绿色创想"承诺，完成公司关于减少温室气体排放强度的目标。GE还在保持收入增长的同时，在水资源利用与技术创新等"绿色创想"目标方面取得进展。

2005年，GE承诺在2008年、2010年和2012年逐步实现一系列"绿色创想"目标，其中的首个承诺是在2008年，将公司运营中的温室气体排放强度降低30%。到目前为止，GE已经将温室气体排放强度降低了41%，高于既定目标。温室气体排放强度是温室气体排放量与公司收益间的比率。自2005年，GE还将绝对温室气体排放量降低了13%，能源利用率提高37%。公司将继续在这些领域努力，以期完成2012年的目标。

GEアビエーションは、JALグループの中核航空会社としてリージョナルジェット機を運航しているジェイ・エア社との間で、ジェイ・エア社が10機の導入を予定しているエンブラエル170型機に搭載されるGE製CF34-8Eエンジンについて、10年間の整備契約（OnPoint(sm)）を締結しました。
ジェイ・エア社では、2008年よりエンブラエル170の導入を順次開始しています。

ジェイ・エア社の渡辺常務（整備担当）は次のように述べています。
「今年2月より運航を開始した最新鋭機ERJ170は今後の当社の主力機となります。従ってその搭載エンジンであるCF34-8Eの整備は非常に重要な意味を持っており、GE社にはエンジン整備の品質、信頼性、経済性に関して大きな期待をしています。」
