The funding includes a $5.6 million term loan to refinance existing debt and a $1.5 million development line of credit for growth capital. The financing was provided through GE Capital's bank affiliate, GE Capital Bank.

米GEキャピタルの日本における事業会社で法人金融を手がける日本GE株式会社GEキャピタル（本社：東京都港区、代表取締役社長兼CEO：安渕聖司、以下GEキャピタルと表記）は、このたびＪトラスト株式会社（大阪証券取引所2部上場　以下、Jトラストと表記）の連結子会社である株式会社ロプロ（以下、ロプロと表記）に対し、自己信託方式（※）を活用した金銭債権の流動化スキームによる融資契約を締結しました。

本契約は、ロプロが資金調達の多様化を図り安定した事業資金を確保するため、自己信託方式を活用し自らが保有する金銭債権を流動化することで資金調達を実施するものです。自己信託方式は、2007年9月30日の新信託法の施行に伴い新設された信託類型です。（なお自己信託は、2008年9月30日から行うことができるものとされています。）

自己信託を活用した債権流動化による融資はGEキャピタルにとって本案件が初となります。GEキャピタルは、今後もグローバルなビジネスで培った経験、ノウハウを活用して、日本のお客様の幅広い資金ニーズにお応えしてまいります。

The facilities will be used to refinance Clearwater's existing debt and support growth. GE Capital Markets structured the loans and served as joint lead arranger of the credit facilities.

Founded in 1976, Clearwater is one of North America's largest vertically integrated seafood companies.
