Dubai, July 9, 2003 -- GE Aircraft Engines and Emirates, the UAE's national airline, have signed a combined spare engine sales and service programme agreement valued at US$1 billion. GE's engine and service contract will support Emirates' new fleet of Boeing 777-300ER widebody aircraft on lease, all to be powered by GE90 - the world's most powerful engine.
Dubai, February 17, 2003 ---- GE Aircraft Engines will supply Pakistan's national carrier, Pakistan International Airlines (PIA), with GE90 engines to power the airline's new fleet of eight long-range Boeing 777 aircraft. In the deal, valued at US$400 million, GE has agreed to begin delivery of the world's most powerful engine to PIA in 2004.

Kuwait, September 19, 2002 ---- GE Aircraft Engines has won a contract to supply GE T700-701C helicopter engines to the Government of Kuwait. The new engines will power the government's new fleet of 16 Boeing AH-64D Apache Longbow attack helicopters.
The contract, valued at US$30 million, allows for the supply of 32 engines to be installed on the new fleet of helicopters, as well as four spares. The T700-701C powers the latest AH-64A/D Apaches and H-60 Black Hawk variants.

Dubai, UAE, May 7, 2002 ---- GE Aircraft Engines has won a contract to supply GE F110 fighter engines to the Royal Air Force of Oman (RAFO). The new engines will power the RAFO's new fleet of 12 Lockheed Martin F-16 aircraft.
The contract, valued at more than US$50 million, makes Oman the 10th country in the world to select the F110 engine family for its F-16 fighter fleet.
