May 24, 2007 -- EBACE Convention -- - With successful tests of a HF120 engine core completed in April, GE Honda Aero Engines is preparing to run a second core test in May, followed by a full engine test in July.
They are part of several key tests in 2007 to validate design enhancements as the HF120 readies to power business jets by 2010. Also in 2007, GE Honda Aero Engines will finalize design and release hardware for the first HF120 engines that will undergo certification testing in 2008.

March 14, 2007 -- EVENDALE, Ohio -- Azerbaijan Airlines has selected the GEnx engine to power its three Boeing 787-8 Dreamliner aircraft.
Azerbaijan Airlines is the first airline in the republics of the former Soviet Union to order the Boeing 787 aircraft and the GEnx engine. The engine order is valued at more than $110 million (USD).

March 08, 2007 -- EVENDALE, Ohio -- CIT Aerospace, a unit of CIT Group, Inc. (NYSE: CIT) has selected GE Aviation's advanced GEnx-1B64 engine to power three Boeing 787 aircraft and the CF6-80E1 to power four Airbus A330 aircraft. The engine order is valued at approximately $200 million at list price. CIT Aerospace will take delivery of aircraft powered by the GE engines between 2008 and 2013.

EVENDALE, Ohio--(BUSINESS WIRE)--The Qantas Group has selected the GEnx engine as the powerplant for its Boeing 787 Dreamliner fleet of up to 115 aircraft.
The initial order is for 90 installed engines. Deliveries are scheduled to begin in 2008.

EVENDALE, Ohio--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Virgin America has signed a 12-year OnPointSM Solutions agreement with GE Aviation Services for the maintenance and overhaul of the CFM56-5B(a) engines that power its fleet of Airbus A319 and A320 aircraft. The agreement, which initially covers 70 installed and spare engines, is valued at more than $145 million of the life of the contract.
Virgin America, the new U.S. domestic start-up airline, ordered CFM56-5B engines in June 2004 to power up to 105 Airbus A320 family aircraft. The airline currently has firm orders for 31 A320 family aircraft.
