German Compression Stations Equipment Upgrade to Lowers Emissions and Boost Performance
FLORENCE, ITALY---31 January 2011---GE Oil & Gas has been awarded a contract of more than $120 million (€90 million) to overhaul nine gas turbines located at four compression stations along the Trans Europa Naturgas Pipeline (TENP), which runs across Germany from the Dutch to the Swiss border.
10-Year Contract Selected to Support Reliable Wind Power for 178 Wind Turbines across Eight Sites
MADRID--31 January 2011-- GE (NYSE: GE) has signed a 10-year contract with Spanish wind developer Cobra Energia to provide advanced services for 178 GE wind turbines installed at eight wind farms across Spain. The agreement is GE's largest wind energy services contract in Europe and reinforces the company's position in Europe's highly competitive wind turbine services sector.
