Abu Dhabi, 26. Januar 2009 -- Masdar und GE haben eine Partnerschaft in Masdar City vereinbart. Beide Unternehmen planen, ein ecomagination Center mit Schwerpunkt auf nachhaltigen Produkten und Lösungen zu gründen. Zudem wollen die Unternehmen bei der Erforschung und Entwicklung neuer und innovativer Technologien eng zusammenarbeiten. Das Center ist Teil einer umfangreichen, strategischen Partnerschaft zwischen Mubadala und GE, die im Juli 2008 vereinbart wurde.
GE creará en Masdar el primer Centro Ecomagination del mundo, para fomentar la I+D verde y la concienciación social en materia energética.
GE se convierte en el principal arrendatario de la primera ciudad con emisiones cero de dióxido de carbono, sin residuos y alimentada completamente por energías renovables.

ABU DHABI, enero del 2009.-- Masdar anunció hoy que GE ha firmado un contrato a través del cual la compañía se convierte en el principal socio del proyecto Ciudad de Masdar que estará ubicado en Abu Dhabi, capital de los Emiratos Árabes Unidos. En un acuerdo conjunto, las dos empresas dieron a conocer sus planes para establecer un nuevo ecomagination que se enfocará en soluciones comerciales sustentables. El acuerdo prevé también una relación más amplia de investigación y desarrollo que respaldará el avance y la implementación de tecnologías nuevas e innovadoras.
