提前一年达到"绿色创想" 研发投入目标，未来五年将新增100亿美元研发投入
2010年6月29日, 中国北京 - 通用电气（GE）近日公布的"2009年绿色创想报告"显示，截至2009年底，GE"绿色创想"研发投入已超过50亿美元，提前一年达到预定目标。同时，GE还承诺到2015年新增100亿美元用于研发。
2009年"绿色创想"年度报告，阐述了"绿色创想"自2005年推出后的重大进展和里程碑，并在"绿色创想"五周年之际做出了新的承诺。2009年，具有节能环保优势的产品及解决方案为GE带来180亿美元收入。公司在运营过程中的温室气体排放量比2004年的基准线减少22%，温室气体排放强度则比2004年减少了39%。
2009年"绿色创想"在中国的收入达到9.53亿美元，与2008年相比收入增长超过22%。同时，"在中国，为中国"战略下，GE不断加大在中国的研发投入，除"绿色创想"研发投入外，自2008年起GE在中国还累计提供了7500万美元用于研发更清洁的产品和解决方案。
