April 15, 2003 -- HANOI, Vietnam - Vietnam Airlines has accepted delivery of its first GE90-powered Boeing 777 aircraft.
In February 2002, the airline selected GE Aircraft Engines' (GEAE) GE90-94B engine to power the two 777-200ERs it is leasing from International Lease Finance (ILFC). The GE90-powered 777 is the first longer-range aircraft to enter service with the airline.

April 2, 2003 -- EVENDALE, Ohio - GE Aircraft Engines' (GEAE) T700 helicopter engine will power Japan's new fleet of Apache attack helicopters in an engine order valued at $50 million.
The Japan Defense Agency (JDA) selected the T700-701C engine to power up to 80 Boeing AH-64D Apache Attack Helicopters. Delivery is scheduled to begin in 2005.

March 24, 2003 -- Hong Kong - Air Hong Kong today announced that it has placed a $100 million order for GE CF6-80C2 engines to power six firm, two option Airbus A300-600F -General Freighter- aircraft scheduled for delivery in 2004 and 2005.
