2011年10月10日，北京------GE（通用电气公司）近日宣布将启动开放式创新竞赛----GE"健康创想挑战赛"，面向全球广大企业、企业家、创新人士和在校学生征集具有突破性的创意和解决方案，以加快乳腺癌的早期检测，并找到更具个性化的治疗方法。GE及其风险投资伙伴将斥资1亿美元为获选的突破性创意提供资助。

GE"健康创想"计划致力于为更多人提供更好的医疗服务。作为该计划的重要部分，GE正利用协同合作、集思广益的力量将创新方法推向市场，帮助医生和患者找到加快检测及诊断乳腺癌的方法，从而更好地了解病情并进行有效的治疗。
