ATHENS, GREECE -- April 15, 2011 -- GE (NYSE:GE) has shipped advanced gas turbine combined-cycle equipment for the Megalopolis Power Plant in Central Peloponnesus, Greece. The combined-cycle package will replace four lignite-fired units at the site to help the country meet both its energy and environmental goals.

SCHENECTADY, N.Y.---April 14, 2011---GE (NYSE: GE) today announced it will supply its 2.5-megawatt (MW) wind turbine technology to power the Żeńsko wind farm, a new facility being developed in northwestern Poland, as the country expands the production of renewable energy to reduce its dependence on coal-generated electricity. The project is located in the city of Krzęcin in Choszczno County, West-Pomerania Province.
