Dubai, September 25, 2006: GE's Oil & Gas business will supply six PG6581B (Frame 6B) gas turbines, equipped with dual fuel IGCC (integrated gasification combined-cycle) type combustion systems, to Qatar Shell GTL Ltd. for the Pearl GTL (gas-to-liquids) project in Ras Laffan Industrial City, Qatar.
EVENDALE, OHIO -- September 25, 2006: Qatar Airways has ordered 40 high-thrust GE90 engines to power 20 longer-range Boeing 777s in an engine order valued at more than $750 million (USD).
Qatar Airways ordered 14 777-300ERs, powered by the GE90-115B; and six 777-200LR Worldliners, powered by the GE90-110B. Deliveries are scheduled to begin in 2007.

Multi-Million Dollar Contract Covers 22 Gas Turbines
Dubai, December 28, 2005: GE Energy and RasGas Company Limited has recently signed a multi-million dollar agreement calling for GE to supply a full range of services over a 25-year period for 22 gas turbines operating at the RasGas LNG production complex in Ras Laffan Industrial City, Qatar.

Expansion of over US$500 million
Doha, QATAR, November 28, 2005: GE Energy recently signed a contract with the Qatar Electricity & Water Company (QEWC) for the expansion of the Ras Abu Fontas B-2 power plant in the State of Qatar. This important venture for over US$500 million, to be developed by a consortium including GE and FISIA Italimpianti., is due for completion in 2007 and will help Qatar support future demands for power and water. The power plant will produce 597 megawatts of power and 30 million gallons of desalinated water per day.
