Air India has received its first GEnx-1B-powered Boeing 787 Dreamliner.
NEW DELHI, INDIA -- September 11, 2012 -- Air India has received its first GEnx-1B-powered Boeing 787 Dreamliner. This aircraft is one of 27 GEnx-powered Boeing 787 Dreamliners that India's national carrier has ordered.
GE announced second-quarter 2012 Operating Earnings of $4.0 billion, or $0.38 per share, up 7% and 12% respectively from the second-quarter of 2011.

Jet Airways has signed an 10-year OnPointSM solution agreement with GE Aviation that expands the engine maintenance, repair and overhaul coverage to include new CF6-80E engines that will power nine additional Airbus A330 aircraft that the carrier will begin inducting later this year.
