Dubai, September 25, 2006: GE's Oil & Gas business will supply six PG6581B (Frame 6B) gas turbines, equipped with dual fuel IGCC (integrated gasification combined-cycle) type combustion systems, to Qatar Shell GTL Ltd. for the Pearl GTL (gas-to-liquids) project in Ras Laffan Industrial City, Qatar.
EVENDALE, OHIO -- September 25, 2006: Qatar Airways has ordered 40 high-thrust GE90 engines to power 20 longer-range Boeing 777s in an engine order valued at more than $750 million (USD).
Qatar Airways ordered 14 777-300ERs, powered by the GE90-115B; and six 777-200LR Worldliners, powered by the GE90-110B. Deliveries are scheduled to begin in 2007.

Sharjah, February 22, 2006 -- Sharjah Electricity & Water Authority (SEWA) has selected GE Energy's gas turbine technology for the Hamriyah Power Station, located in the Emirate of Sharjah, United Arab Emirates (UAE).
GE will supply four Frame 9E gas turbines for phase one of the simple-cycle, base load power plant, which will add 380 megawatts of capacity to the Sharjah electricity grid. The primary fuel will be natural gas.
