GE Water & Process Technologies Hosts Bring a Child to Work Day, April 26, 2007

)--Over 100 students, including 20 high school students from the Greater Philadelphia area, will attend GE Water & Process Technologies' annual Bring a Child to Work Day, to be held at its global headquarters in Trevose, Pennsylvania on Thursday, April 26, 2007.

--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Over 100 students, including 20 high school students from the Greater Philadelphia area, will attend GE Water & Process Technologies' annual Bring a Child to Work Day, to be held at its global headquarters in Trevose, Pennsylvania on Thursday, April 26, 2007. For the third consecutive year, the students and children of GE employees will meet with a variety of business professionals from the broadcast, marketing, financial, and engineering sectors, who will expose them to a variety of career possibilities. Children will also engage in science experiments, visit an onsite planetarium, learn how a chemical manufacturing plant operates, receive guidance from career mentors and interact with a diverse panel of experts in a Q&A session. GE will also launch a new campaign to collect food for the Bucks County Food Pantries.

WHAT: Bring a child to work day
Greater Philadelphia students and children of GE employees, aged 6 to 18, will attend workshops focused on expanding the children's knowledge of a variety of career choices

9:00 a.m. - Welcome by Glenn Messina, GE Water & Process Technologies, CFO
10:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. - Children visit planetarium, engage in water scarcity activities, science experiments, and computer activities.
12:00 -1:00 p.m. - NBC 10's Lori Delgado, as guest speaker
1:00 p.m. - Children create commercials
