KPI View Customization

KPI View

The Key Performance Indicator (KPI) view displays the current values of the KPI tags for an asset while showing the trends of these tags.

Purposes of the KPI View

Use can use the KPI view to do the following:

  • After setting up the HMI module to send data to the cloud, you can quickly verify whether asset data is flowing to the cloud.
  • In some circumstances, you may want to view the key performance indicators of a complex asset in text format rather than in a mimic visualization.
  • You want a trend-line analysis view to monitor the performance of the KPIs for an asset.

Runtime

The KPI view appears when you select a Mimic Card or a Mimic + Alarms Card for an asset that is not associated to a mimic. For each selected asset, you see a list of data source tags with their current values and trend lines. Once an asset is bound to a mimic, it no longer appears in the Runtime KPI view.

By default, this view lists all the KPI tags of any selected asset in the model. You can customize this view to list only certain tags of an asset, and then select which of these tags to trend. You can trend up to 25 tags per asset.

Customize a KPI View

You can change the KPI view of an asset to only display certain key performance indicators, and then select which of these KPIs to trend at Runtime.
