The following enhancements and new features have been added.

To enhance functionality, while using the conditional based filters (CBF), you can now see the slider for a tag or tag expression to select the minimum and maximum values. To facilitate this enhancement, a new Enable numeric data for CBF check box has been added to the SmartSignal Marker Configuration section of the Tenant Preferences page.

When Enable numeric data for CBF is selected, while using the conditional filters functionality, you can see the slider for a tag or tag expression to select the minimum and maximum values. When Enable numeric data for CBF is not selected, while using the conditional filters functionality, the data for the string tags is displayed in a drop-down list box instead of a slider.

The following enhancements and new features have been added.

To enhance functionality, support for special characters is now included in Analysis module. You can perform the following tasks that support inclusion of special characters:
  • Include special characters in tag names.
  • Type special characters in the search criteria to search for tag names with special characters.
  • Type the characters of the criteria or copy from another location and paste the characters in the Search box to search for asset tags.
  • Type the characters or copy from another location and paste the characters to construct tag expressions.
  • Construct or modify tag expressions with tag names that have special characters.
  • Visualize the data on an Analysis chart in CSV, for tag names with special characters.
  • Save and retrieve templates that include special characters in tag names.

To enhance usability, when you plot two pins in the Time Series (Line) and Time Series Scatter Plot charts, you can now view the time stamps for the two pins and the time difference between the pins in the PINNED DATA pane. You can drag the PINNED DATA pane to increase the width that enables you to view all the data in the table. F56316
To enhance functionality, the Analysis Browser page has been added. Using the Analysis Browser page you can perform the following tasks:
  • View the analysis templates based on the privileges assigned to you.
  • View the associated template information and navigate to other templates.
  • When you select the analysis template associated with the classification template, all the assets associated with the same classification appear in the Context Browser, where you can select the required asset to access the asset template.
  • Filter the template data to narrow options for selection.
  • Show or hide selected columns using the column chooser.
  • Using the Create Analysis button, you can select the analysis type that you want to access. The analysis types are available based on the privileges assigned to you.
  • You can navigate back to the Analysis Browser page from an Analysis view. To facilitate this enhancement, the Template Browser () icon is added to the Analysis template or view header.
  • You can now expand and view the asset hierarchy containing the list of assets in a parent-child structure from the Analysis template or view. To facilitate this enhancement, the Asset Hierarchy () icon is added to the Analysis template or view header.

To improve usability in the Analysis workspace, based on the configuration or the default settings, the following changes have been made:
  • The From and To labels for the Range Picker in the analysis template header, now appear in the same line as the settings options.

    If the fields do not have enough space to align in the same line, the fields change to icons. The From label is hidden and the To label appears in between the calendars.

  • In the Time Series and EBQ templates, based on the configuration or the default settings, the labels for the configuration settings drop-down list boxes now appear in the analysis template header in the same line.
    The selected configuration or the default value for each drop-down list box appears below the label as a full version or a shorter version, based on the space available. If the fields do not have enough space to align in the same line, they appear as icons.

To improve usability, the Timing Diagram chart in now added to the chart types. Using the Timing Diagram chart, you can perform the following tasks:
  • Plot tags having values other than 0 or 1 in the logical overlay. These tags are represented in step-up manner on the chart.
  • Drag and drop the tags into the Logical and Standard zones to identify the tags respectively.
  • View all the logical tags together plotted in a stacked-up view.
    Note: For a single y-axis, the logical tags are plotted on the default y-axis in stacked-up manner.

Hence, the search results displayed asset tags for multiple assets with the same Asset name. This issue has been resolved.
