Overview of the Industrial Data Diagnostics Application

Industrial Data Diagnostics is a benchmarking tool that displays data related to reliability and performance of the assets in your company. You can use Industrial Data Diagnostics to view an overall picture of asset performance within your company and to view the performance relative to a specific part of your company (for example, the performance of a single site, the performance of a certain type of equipment). Using Industrial Data Diagnostics, you can compare data from your company with that of similar companies worldwide, or you can compare data between sites within your company. Industrial Data Diagnostics provides you with a variety of visual tools to view and compare data.

You can use the features of Industrial Data Diagnostics to answer the following questions:

  • How has my company performed recently? This information can be categorized either by functional location or by equipment taxonomy.
  • How is my company doing compared to the competition?
  • How can I analyze the health of the assets in my company to identify areas of potential cost savings?
  • How can I improve the availability and reliability of my assets?

To answer these questions, Industrial Data Diagnostics determines a benchmark using the average asset performance of peer organizations that have subscribed to Industrial Data Diagnostics. Using this benchmark, you can compare and analyze the asset performance of your company in terms of cost, reliability, and availability. Benchmarking data provides an objective view of the performance of your organization and can help identify the areas that will benefit from improvement efforts. This can help you decrease cost, increase profit, and become more competitive with your peers.

Important: The asset data in Industrial Data Diagnostics is updated once a month.
